Today I made a little project using the Holiday Snow Globe Set:

I also used Fhiona and her Friend Penguin a mini stamp as well.

I knew I wanted to give a Chocolate Bar to my daughter's assistant teacher and I found the perfect instructions over at Scor Pal Candy Bar Card PDF instructions.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge - December 4

Happy Wednesday everyone! Its happy for me because my kiddos are back in school, except for the baby, so we can get back go our regular routine.

My card for today is for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge.  I hope you will play along with us - it is very simple "anything goes", just create an uplifting and positive card and post it at Word Art Wednesday challenges.  You can use this week's verse below, but it is not required.

Karen M. (Papercraft Memories) created the beautiful graphic for today's verse:
Sometimes for me waiting patiently is the hardest thing to do, and it is definitely something I try to be aware of!

I found the perfect image from Flat Friends images, a little squirrel waiting patiently for his nut to fall:

Definitely check out Flat Friends because Emma Canning has some adorable new images this month.  I am really in love with how this card turned out. I love the clean and simple and modern look...and it is something I want to try again!

Thanks for peeking at my blog today, please check out Word Art Wednesday for my team mates cards, you are sure to be inspired!

Good Morning crafty people! Today is a new Challenge at Loves Rubber Stamps....Challenge 81 is everyone's favorite - anything goes!

I decided to create a Clean and Simple (for me!)  card today featuring the adorable Lawn Fawn critters. This is for my nephew's birthday....I have 3 nephews and two of them have birthday's in December so I get to make lots of cards this month. :-)

I love this Lawn Fawn set.  The animals are adorable and they come with matching dies so it's quick and easy to make a cute card.

Loves Rubber Stamps - {Sensational Sunday Blog Hop} Gorjuss Decoupage

Hi everyone and welcome to the Loves Rubber Stamps Sensational Sunday Blog Hop

December 1....can you believe we are in December~??

I have been "recovering" from our trip to San Diego for Thanksgiving where we brunched at Hotel Del Mar.  My 2 year old was not as into the brunch as we were, but it was still a delish day!  And I can't complain since there are no dishes to wash.

So for today, the Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher!  We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1stSunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Laura (you are here, last stop!)

Thank you all for your wonderful comments the last time I created the Gorjuss Girls Decoupage card! I had so much fun with the decoupage, I have decided to create a new decoupage for today.

I used the Gorjuss Girls Decoupage "New Heights" pack that I bought at Loves Rubberstamps.  LOVE!!!  Not to sound like a commercial, but it was only $4.99 and it includes all the stuff below, plus some extra paper not even shown here:

Materials used

A little word on the MFT Blueprints....they came out this summer and I was a little late to this party and just purchased my Blueprints and this was the first time using them.  WOW!  I love the Blueprints because it all fits together and makes the card so easy.  I will definitely be using this again.

Card Instructions

To decoupage this card, I just popped out the image and the image repeats.  I mixed Diamond Glaze with a little water and brushed it on the base, then I used Best Glue Ever as if it were a silicone glue, because it  is not runny so it dries in a nice ball if you want it to, and I attached the second figure raised by the glue.  Then I pasted a coat of Diamond Glaze over this.  Repeat.  It is super fast and easy. Actually quicker for me than coloring and stamping.  Decoupage is fun!

I love this woodland feel on this card, and hope you do too!  Thanks for joining us in our Loves Rubber Stamps Sensational Sunday Blog Hop!  And thank you for leaving comments.....I so enjoy reading all them.

Flat Friends - December Color Challenge

Good Morning friends!  Today is the start of the Flat Friends Challenge and it's a sweet Color Challenge this month.  This is my version of Clean and Simple ....

This digi was fun to work with and she is by Emma Canning at Flat Friends and called "Get Well Soon".  I used Spellbinders Circle Die & Reverse Scallop Die and MFT stitched Rectangles Die.  Candi Dots in silver are on the corners.  I highly recommend these Candi Dots, I get mine at Loves Rubber Stamps!

Her dress is paper pieced from "My Mind's Eye - A Mother's Love".  The pink paper and green star paper are from "Crate Paper - Party Day and Little Bo Peep"
