Sooooo Im having way too much fun with this Doodlebug Springtime paper.  I decided to stick with the Easter Theme and used Mimi in her Easter Bunny outfit.  I used a Kraft cardstock and stash ribbon & sentiment.

From The Heart Stamps - Thursday Inspirational Post

Good Morning all! Today is Inspiration post day at From the Heart Stamps and also my last post as member of this Design Team....April 2014 has come along so fast!!! I have loved being a part of this group of talented ladies and enjoyed Faith's images so much I will definitely be around entering the FTHS upcoming challenges.  

For my last card, I was inspired to create a card using Faith's adorable new digi line called Birdbrains~~This set is called Easter Egg Birdbrains and it comes with these sweet sentiments too!

The birdbrains are so much fun to color! I used some more of my favorite design paper from Doodlebug.  I just adore the sentiment because I went through a period of brokenness that allowed me to stop working as an attorney and become a stay-at-home mom.  Christ definitely gave me a new life and I am so grateful to him!!  He promises the same to all of us.

Loves Rubber Stamps - Challenge 96 "Elisabeth Bell"

Challenge 96 at Loves Rubber Stamps....is a fun chance to use your "ugly" design papers or those that are just not your usual style. I usually use super bright color papers or those with "cute" designs...so the papers I used today are more vintage & muted.  I really enjoyed the challenge of putting the card together not in my usual style.  

The little stamp is called "Strawberry Dreamer" my first Elisabeth Bell rubber stamp and I really liked coloring it and see more of them in my future.

My daughter needed a card for her best friend's birthday and she happens to be an adorable red head, so I made her this little mermaid card.  

The clear acrylic stamp set is from Tiddly Inks and comes with the sweet "Birthday Fishes" Sentiment.

From the Heart Stamps - Sketch 58 Challenge

Good Morning ladies!

For my card today, it is for the new Sketch Challenge over at From the Heart Stamps and the sketch is a cutie!  There is also a twist if you choose to use it - monochromatic colors!

I wanted to use my new Doodlebug Patriotic paper and the Patriotic Kitten stamp was the perfect compliment.  I colored with copics and had fun making the "stripes" on the kitty.

The Greeting Farm challenge this week is to use twine and I thought I would make a card using twine.  I used the adorable Amelia stamp from Loves Rubber Stamps.  To create the twine grass I wrapped it around a popscicle stick.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments the last time I created the Gorjuss Girls Decoupage card! I had so much fun with the decoupage, I have decided to create a new decoupage for today. This time I created an altered notebook:

I used the Gorjuss Girls Decoupage "New Heights" pack that I bought at Loves Rubberstamps.  LOVE!!!  Not to sound like a commercial, but it was only $4.99 and it includes all the stuff below, plus some extra paper not even shown here:

Card Instructions

To decoupage this card, I just popped out the image and the image repeats.  I mixed Diamond Glaze with a little water and brushed it on the base, then I used Best Glue Ever as if it were a silicone glue, because it  is not runny so it dries in a nice ball if you want it to, and I attached the second figure raised by the glue.  Then I pasted a coat of Diamond Glaze over this.  Repeat.  It is super fast and easy. Actually quicker for me than coloring and stamping.  Decoupage is fun!
