Loves Rubber Stamps - Use Washi Tape Doodlegarden

Hello crafty friends~

I just had to share the above with you all, I saw it on one of my friends blogs and it brought a smile to my face! LOL!

Well, today is a new Challenge at Loves Rubber Stamps....

Before we get into today's challenge, I just had to share with you the newest member of our family - Fiona! She is a 3 year old pitbull we adopted from a pitbull rescue group, someone had abandoned her in a Target parking lot.  Their loss! She is the sweetest, most mellow and obedient dog ever.  She even came in perfectly potty trained and new how to use the doggy door! LOVE! Well if you ever are looking for your new best friend check out your local rescue groups.

All right, so down to crafty business.....Challenge 91 was a little challenging, but I ended up loving the process.  It is all about the Washi Tape ladies! Even more fun we are sponsored by Dooodlegarden and they are donating the prize to the lucky challenge winner.

The Doodlegarden also generously provided us with this image to work with.  Here is today's card, and I used Washi Tape for the background:

Hamlet is so much fun to color! I used some more of my favorite design paper for Valentine's from Doodlebug.  The die for the sentiment is from My Favorite Things and it is the candy label die, which has become a favorite of mine. I use it quite a bit for sentiments.

Sensational Sunday Blog Hop - Make It Crafty

Hello Crafty friends!

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links.

One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher!  We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

For my inspiration project today I was so excited to show this card because I love how it came out.  It kind of just evolved and was very very fun to put together.  I had to make my own roses and it's nice to have the die so that is an option, but it makes my hands feel like huge blocks of wood...it is a bit too fiddly for me.  BUT if you check out  Loves Rubber Stamps they are getting in Wild Orchid Flowers which are gorgeous. I am definitely getting some.  Now which colors....???

You can find this stamp here at Loves Rubber Stamps.  It is called Girl's Secret Swing.

And here is a closeup of my card for today:

Materials Used

Design Paper - Crate Paper - "Party Day"

From The Heart Stamps - Feb Blog Hop {Feel The Love}

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. We are celebrating "Feel The Love" and all the designers have created a love themed project.  As you hop along, please leave a comment on each entry. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win the image that the designer used. And additionally, one commenter on the From the Heart Stamps blog will be selected to win a $5 gift voucher to the store!
If you have arrived from Kelly's blog, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.

Here is my project, using Birdbrain Conversation Hearts. I used the Birdbrain and the Sentiment, and while I love the conversation hearts, they didn't fit on my project.  Since it is digital it is easy to just pull out the parts you want to use.

This File Folder card is super easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board.  One of my blogging buddies Indah at Miss Amber Crafts made an adorable file folder card which inspired me to make one. To find instructions, I googled "File Folder Card", here is a YouTube video by Patty.  Be careful, these are addicting to make! (Don't say I didn't warn ya!)

Materials Used:

From the Heart Stamps Digi Image -Birdbrain Conversation Hearts
Design Paper - Fancy Pants Studios "Love Note"
Copics

Now head over to Lyn's Blog and see what she has created. Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win!

The hop will end on Monday February 10 at 6am, EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday February 12.
