Today I wanted to go with a Sewing Theme....and I decided to finish up a card I had started...oh about...4 months ago! I had already done the sewing part so I had to add the character and sentiment.  

I ended up using 3 different sets to mix and match:  The main character is from CC Designs - Sugarplums "Cherry Emma".  She was sitting which was a nice change up for me! The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn - "Sew Lovely" and the little button and thread spool are from Some Odd Girl - "In Stitches Tia".  You can get all of these at Loves Rubber Stamps!

It was a good thing I had already done the sewing on the card, because the ole' sewing machine is now tucked away and covered over by Card Making Supplies! At least there is a clear spot on my bed to sleep....:-

{Your Next Stamp} Fun Friday Challenge - Week 2

Good Morning crafty friends! Today continues my month as Guest Designer over at Your Next Stamp.  I am super excited to use their adorable stamps!

December first marked the start of the month long Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge #7.  I chose the photo as inspiration.  I used Flu Bug Fhiona and all the paper and cardstock is from Michaels.

This photo brought to mind for me - winter and cold.  Which brought to mind - getting the sniffles.  So my card today is for anyone who needs a little pick me up.  Hope you all have a great day.  

Word Art Wednesday - Challenge December 11

Happy Wednesday everyone! I got 5 gifts accomplished this morning (on Amazon of course!) so I think I can breathe a little easier.   Hope you all are doing well too.

My card for today is for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge.  I hope you will play along with us - it is very simple "anything goes", just create an uplifting and positive card and post it at Word Art Wednesday challenges.  You can use this week's verse below, but it is not required.

Such a beautiful verse and it reminds me of angels singing.  I didn't have any angels singing on hand, but I did have this cute little image from All Dressed Up of animals singing.  I decided to make the card 5 x 7 because it fit my paper from Me & My Big Ideas perfectly.  The label is from My Favorite Things dienamics and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Handmade Harbour - Merry Christmas Challenge

Good Morning crafty friends! Today is Wednesday which means a new challenge over at Handmade Harbour.  The theme is CHRISTMAS! 

I used Cool Penguin.  Isn't he so sweet?

I used the Sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and colored him with my Copics.  I used frantage as the snow (doesn't really show in the photo).  This was my first time using it, and while it was fun, I think I need to do more of it to completely figure it out~!  The sentiment is from Some Odd Girl.

Good Morning crafty friends~ Eeeks! I have a ton of Christmas shopping to do today.  Hope you all are more ahead of the game then I am!

Today is a new Challenge at Loves Rubber Stamps....Challenge 82 is everyone's favorite - anything goes with a Christmas twist!  I decided to use a new stamp set I got at Loves Rubber Stamps - Some Odd Girl "Ornament Tia".  I had a lot of fun coloring her ornament.

Now you may have noticed this stamp is not exactly Christmasy! But I decided to challenge myself and use a non-Christmas stamp to make a Christmas card. Here it is:
