My craft area is messy. Very messy. I so admire crafters with the neat, organized drawers and labeled bins. The most I can do in my craft area is keep one little wall neat. And for decorating that wall I decided to use today's verse over at Word Art Wednesday, which is from Proverbs 10:12.
I hope you will play along with us - it is very simple "anything goes"... just create an uplifting and positive card or other artwork and post it at Word Art Wednesday challenges. You can use this week's verse below, but it is not required. The challenge this week has two lovely sponsors. Mark's Finest Papers is providing a free stamp set and Crafty Secrets is providing a digital image to the winners. You should definitely check it out!
The beautiful verse and graphics inspired me to create vinyl word art for the blank space under some paper pieced dresses I had made and framed awhile back.
I used my new Silhouette Cameo to turn this png file into a cut file using THIS TUTORIAL from Silhouette School Blog. I have only worked with vinyl a few times before on my Cameo, but it was actually simple following the tutorial. I was very happy the outcome:
I did have to turn the dotted line into a flourish because I just couldn't get all the tiny dots to come out nicely in vinyl. If not obvious by now, I love love love my Silhouette Cameo and if you are on the fence, go for it~
Thanks so much for stopping by!
