From The Heart Stamps - Sketch 51 - Sewing Fun

Good Morning ladies!

Since today my card theme is "Sewing" I decided to show a little project I sewed in the past, a baby quilt for my adorable nephew Jack. The fabric I used is from Moda.  I especially loved sewing the free form quilting over the top (the little circles):

For my card today, it is for the new Sketch Challenge over at From the Heart Stamps and the sketch is a cutie!
Keeping with the Valentine Theme, I used the digi stamp Love You To Stitches, which I love!

I wanted to use my sewing machine because of the "stitches" theme in the card, so I got it out and went for the red zig zag.  Ok, I have to say, it was very fun sewing and it has been too long.  Ever since I started making cards my sewing has been neglected, but I hope to be able to balance both.  So here is my card:

Hope you all have a wonderful day and play along with us at From the Heart Stamps Challenges.

For my inspiration project today I was so excited I got to use my new cling stamp from Lawn Fawn. It is called "Love You Tons" and you can find Lawn Fawn  at Loves Rubber Stamps. I am definitely in the Valentine spirit so I went for this cute pink and red card.

Paper Temptress Baby Onesie Card

Materials Used:

Paper Temptress Hambly Screen Print Overlay
Spellbinders Nestabilities Squares & Square Scallop
Striped Designer Paper from Crate Paper "Fourteen"
Memory Box Letter Alphabet Die

Patricia from the Paper Temptress has some awesome paper in her store.  I love this onesie layover screen print, which is sort of like having images stamped on acetate.  Sooooo cute and fun to work with.

She has over a hundred different designs to choose from and sells some packages of 6x6 with 12 different overlays for less than $3! This onesie overlay makes me miss those days when my little one could still wear a onesie! But not enough to do it again! LOL....

Paper Temptress is a lovely scrapbooking and
crafting store filled with high-quality papers
and embellishments.  All sorts of sweetness!

From The Heart Stamps - Thursday Inspiration Post

Good Morning all! Today is Inspiration post day at From the Heart Stamps and I was inspired to create a card using Faith's adorable digi called Sea Turtle Beach. I think I have summer, ocean and the sand on my mind!  I embossed the back kraft paper with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and colored the image with copics. I attached some seashells, wrapped twine, and added wispy paper for texture.

Materials used:

MFT Pierced Rectangle Die

Thank You Teacher Card - CCM

Good Morning! Just popping in to upload this card I made using the MFT Teachers Sentiments.  The image is from Chi Chi Memories blog and is FREE this month.  Super cute right?!

I airbrushed the background around her and I used white ink on black paper for a "chalkboard" kind of look.  That white pigment ink is not easy to work with! I ended up using clear embossing powder to heat seal it!
