Christmas Treat Box

Last night I found myself with a little time on my hands and decided to use the Heidi Grace box templates I had picked up at Tuesday Morning for $4.  The set came with 12 boxes, but I chose this guy to show off the adorable Dilly Beans stamp.  I love Dilly Beans, they are a little quirky.

Super fun project.  The christmas papers are from Me & My Big Ideas ($2 also at Tuesday Morning...sensing a theme here? LOL...trying to keep the ole' card making budget in check).

This Treat Box is on its way to a good home with my daughter's awesome teacher at school.

November 15 - {All Dressed Up} Lace & Ribbon Challenge

Today's project is from All Dressed Up stamps, and it is my last project as Guest Designer for the month of November with this fantastic company.  The challenge is Lace & Ribbon, so I decided to use the lace and ribbon on the hot air balloon.  I cut out the sentiments, then mounted them on squares.  I also die cut the clouds, raised the panel and added little white pom poms for some depth.  Hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed making it.

Materials used:

All Dressed Up Stamps - Love is in the Air
Copics
Chalk
Spellbinders square dies & scalloped square dies
Stash ribbon & lace
Sweet and Sassy Cloud die
pom poms
The designer paper is Echo Park "Here and Now"
Ranger Antique Linen ink

Word Art Wednesday - I John 3:18

Good Morning everyone! It is another beautiful Wednesday and that means - Word Art Wednesday challenge!

I hope you will play along with us - it is very simple anything goes, just create an uplifting and positive card and post it at Word Art Wednesday challenges.

Karen M. (Papercraft Memories) created the beautiful graphic for today's verse:

For me this verse reminds me to show love in my actions, not just my words.  What does it mean to you?

For this card I used Some Odd Girl Painter Mae and colored her with Copics.  The paper is from the Japanese dollar store - Daimyo here in California.  And the dies on the corner are Whimsy dies.  The speech bubble is from Echo Park since I don't have an electronic cutting machine to use one of the SOG cut files.

Challenges entering:

Some Odd Girl - November Challenge speech bubbles (Nov. 31)

Loves Rubber Stamps - Sepia or (black & white) Challenge

Good Morning friends!  Today is my first "official" post as a Design Team member with Loves Rubber Stamps.  I am super excited and honored to be a part of this team.  Check out my team mates cards for this challenge - I know you will be inspired like I was!

For this challenge I used the red rubber stamp - Kimono Marci from La La Land.  I really liked her beautiful Japanese look.   Also, I thought it looked pretty vintage in the sepia tones.  The photo above is me being a total photoshop geek and turning it black and white with purple splash of color (in honor of my Mom a total purple lover!)

Word Art Wednesday - Isaiah 41:13

Good morning Crafty ladies!

I don't have the gift of Evangelism, so I will leave that to the talented ladies like Karen over at Word Art Wednesday who do.

I do feel that I have a passion and gift to create, so I am super pleased to announce that today marks my first post as a Design Team member at Word Art Wednesday challenges!

I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this super team.  I get to design cards with biblical scripture every week.  This makes me very happy as I have been searching for a way to celebrate God more in my crafting.

I hope you will play along with us every Wednesday - it is very simple, just create an uplifting and positive card and post it at Word Art Wednesday challenges.

Karen M. (Papercraft Memories) created the beautiful graphic for today's verse:
The card style I used is called a Double Dutch Fold card.  I googled to find a quick tutorial for the card measurements, and ended up using them from Shelly's Images Blog.  Shelly's photos are so great I didn't even need to read the tutorial and I highly recommend you check out her site!

Materials used:

Sweet and simple:-)
Purple cardstock & peach Coredinations cardstock
Sizzix embossing folder
My Favorite Things Pierced Rectangles Die
Ranger Distress Ink Antique Linen
Recollection purple flowers

Challenges entering:
