Happy Thanksgiving Friends

I hope all you crafty ladies are having a restful Thanksgiving.  I am hosting the Thanksgiving feast this year for my family so I hope the Turkey turns out great, I haven't made one in ages!

Well before you head off to your feasts, I wanted to share this sweet little Thanksgiving Mug Warmer I made using Doodlebug's Happy Harvest fabric. I think I mentioned in a previous post how much I love it, especially for Fall!

I found a plain white ceramic mug at Walmart and used the Doodlebug fabric to make it very warm & cozy.  I didn't use a sewing pattern, but it is very simple to make and I can provide a tutorial for it in another post if anyone would like to see it.

The matching round Mug Rug is made using the World's Easiest Mug Rug Tutorial.  It is a very simple pattern but does use 6 different 10" squares of fabric, so a Layer Cake would be perfect.   You can find an easy Tutorial I did on fabric buttons here.

I hope you all enjoy this and have fun getting in the Fall & Winter spirit!

In Everything Give Thanks...

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today's verse over at Word Art Wednesday is from Galations.

I hope you will play along with us - it is very simple "anything goes"... just create an uplifting and positive card and post it at Word Art Wednesday challenges.  You can use this week's verse below, but it is not required.  The challenge this week is sponsored by the Flying Unicorn and Pink Persimmon stamps. You should definitely check it out.

Diane Noble (Daydream Designs) created the beautiful graphic for today's verse from Thessalonians.  You should definitely take a peek at Daydream Designs because they have tons of adorable new Thanksgiving and Fall images:

To make my card today I simply printed Dian's beautiful word art straight onto some Card Stock.  Then I accented it with a Turkey sticker and some paper both from Doodlebug's the Happy Harvest line.

Seriously I am so crazy about Doodlebug paper that when I saw they had some matching Doodlebug fabric for sale by Riley Blake I was all over it.  Scrumptious fabric right!

I decided to use the fabric to make a little tissue holder to send along with the card.  I used this tutorial from Fiona at Two Brown Birds.  This is the quickest, easiest tissue holder to sew and super cute with the binding look.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

~Goodbye!~ and Loves Rubber Stamps Sensational Sunday Blog Hop

Hi everyone.......

before we get to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop  I have to say this was a bittersweet post because sadly this is my last post as a Design Team member with Loves Rubberstamps.

I am going to miss the entire team....their inspiration and chats and gorgeous projects! But I have some things coming up with my kiddos that are going to require lots more of my time so I am cutting back on all of my design team work.  I absolutely hope to be able to join again at some point in the near future and will still be checking out everyone's blogs as often as I can.  So I won't be going far. :-)

For the Blog Hop today.......the Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links.

Don't forget to check out Loves Rubber Stamps where Laura Love has a huge collection of stamping supplies.

I used a special La La Land stamp from a dear friend Marcy.  Thank ya girl! Luka is soooooo cute and I couldn't wait to ink him up.  I decided to make a Thank You for my son's preschool teacher, she has been one of those wonderful first teacher experiences for him! Of course, I had to throw in some Doodlebug paper....

One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher!  We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1stSunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Thanks for joining us in our Loves Rubber Stamps Sensational Sunday Blog Hop and please head over to your next stop - Indah Permatasari!  Goodbye for now!!!!
