From The Heart Stamps - Thursday Inspiration Post

Good Morning all! Today is Inspiration post day at From the Heart Stamps and I was inspired to create a card using Faith's adorable digi called Sea Turtle Beach. I think I have summer, ocean and the sand on my mind!  I embossed the back kraft paper with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and colored the image with copics. I attached some seashells, wrapped twine, and added wispy paper for texture.

Materials used:

From the Heart Stamps Digi Image -Sea Turtle Beach.
MFT Pierced Rectangle Die
Copics

Have a great day!

Thank You Teacher Card - CCM

Good Morning! Just popping in to upload this card I made using the MFT Teachers Sentiments.  The image is from Chi Chi Memories blog and is FREE this month.  Super cute right?!

I airbrushed the background around her and I used white ink on black paper for a "chalkboard" kind of look.  That white pigment ink is not easy to work with! I ended up using clear embossing powder to heat seal it!

Challenges Entering:

Chi Chi Memories - January Challenge (Feb. 15)
MAke It Monday - Challenge 175 (Jan. 27)
Oozak - Challenge 30 Anything Goes/Love (Feb. 3)

Loves Rubber Stamps - Challenge 87 "Aurora Wings"

Good Morning crafty friends~

Today is a new Challenge at Loves Rubber Stamps....Challenge 87 is going to be lots of fun and get your gears going - because it is "CASE" Challenge.  Even more fun Aurora Wings is donating the prize to the lucky challenge winner.

Now if you are like me you are thinking "What is CASE?".  My lovely Design Team members enlightened me that CASE is Copy And Steal Everything! You choose another designer's card then try to copy it, changing a few things to make it yours.  When CASE'ing it is best to also post a photo of the card you CASE'd and a link to their blog so they get proper credit.

So I decided to CASE my lovely Design Team member Holly.  If you've been following along on Holly's blog, you know that she listed her "favorite cards of 2013".  The favorite of October 2013 was this little beauty.

By Holly Flores, October 2013
What is not to love about this card! I love the cheerful colors and the clean layout, so I decided go give it a go.  I wish I had some tiny silver dots, beacuse I think they add a lot to the project, but I dont so I used "diamond" dots.

Here is my project below:

Aurora Wings Digi - "Grumpy Fairy"
Copics
Stash ric-rac and bling

Whoops, I see I forgot to add glitter to the wings before photographing! What kind of fairy doesn't have glitter wings?

To win some Aurora Wings images of your own, just join in on the fun and enter our CASE Challenge!
